hi! hello. hey!

I’m a set designer*

Sometimes I make furniture out of paper. Sometimes I type numbers into a computer. I’ve collaborated on a wide range of projects—from Netflix specials to immersive experiences. I’ve worked in basements, Broadway theaters, 30 Rock, and other basements.

Every project is different, so I try to stay flexible—adapting to new styles, workflows, and personalities. Whether I’m pitching a concept, building 3D models, or managing a crew, I focus on clear communication and humor to help nebulous ideas become tactile.

I graduated from The Theatre School at DePaul University (yes, THE theater school). My work has been recognized with an Art Directors Guild nomination, a Jeff Award nomination, a BroadwayWorld Award, and the John Murbach Scholarship for Collaborative Design, and I was featured in the 2011 Prague Quadrennial. Also, the truck I decorated in middle school won “best parade float” in 2001. I have an actual trophy form that one.

I’ve lived and worked in Chicago, New York, Connecticut, New York again, and Chicago again (but this time as a dad). I also have a dog - who I sometimes sneak into projects.
